Osgood-Schlatter Disease (OSD) is an overuse injury causing inflammation and pain of the patellar ligament at the tibial tuberosity.It occurs in highly active children, usually between the ages of 10 and 15, who participate in sports involving running, jumping or quick changes in direction.
