A Squash Player With Plantar Fasciitis

Jo-Anne
Jo-Anne

“I believe I developed plantar fasciitis from doing one-legged stability exercises, part of a summer squash training camp. I had symptoms of sore heel pad, with gradual tightening in my calf muscle. Massage helped to relieve the tightness, but did not alleviate the heel pad pain. It was also difficult to take the first steps upon rising in the morning.

I saw an ad in Impact magazine, advertising Low Intensity Laser Therapy. After 3 sessions, I began to notice a difference. I no longer experienced shooting pains in the foot. It was also not as difficult to take those first steps in the morning. I participated in other…View More

“I have to give thanks to Dr. Rob for my Laser Therapy treatments; without the treatments I'm sure my shoulder injury would be along time in the healing.I 1st injured my shoulder in a car accident in July 1997.My shoulders never really healed. Even though I could use my shoulder daily, it was always painful.Early this August, I woke up one Saturday morning and could not move my shoulder at all.I couldn't lift my arm, not even hold a glass of water.Dr. Rob began laser treatments on Tuesday. After 6 treatments I have full range of motion and almost completely pain free.My shoulder has never felt this good, since before my accident, 8 years ago.

Thanks again, I will be trying the treatments in the future.”

Low Back Pain Persisting After Surgery

I have had three operations on my lower back with the last one being a disc removal. Even after that I was suffering from constant pain in my lower back with it radiating down my right leg. I was in pain 24 hours a day and was taking anti-inflammatory drugs. I started laser treatments and noted pain relief after four treatments. After nine treatments my lower back pain is completely gone and I have been able to stop using Celebrex. It has been three months since the end of treatments and I feel like I have gotten my life back. I am able to be more active, have lost weight and life is much, much more enjoyable. I am able to walk…View More

Achilles Tendonitis - Plantar Fasciitis

Gerry P.

“I have been going for laser treatments at LaserHealth® Solutions for a couple of months for a chronic right Achilles tendon injury I sustained while playing baseball. The pain was so bad that I had difficulty walking. After 17 laser treatments I am back to playing baseball and running all the bases. A few weeks later my left heel started to hurt and it was diagnosed as Plantar Fasciitis. I began laser treatments immediately after my heel pain started. It worked much quicker (9 treatments) on the new injury compared to the chronic Achilles problem. I had custom made orthotics made by Dr. Rob and the foot pain is now also gone.”

Wrist Pain

“I broke my wrist one year ago. The break healed fine but the pain in my tendons persisted and was real bad. I went to physiotherapy and it only helped a bit. Since I have been coming to LaserHealth® Solutions for laser treatments, I can do a lot more things now. I am now going back to my weightlifting classes and I can dig in my garden again.

I was a skeptic about laser, but I'm not now.

It really worked!”

Ankle Sprain

Acute 2nd Degree Ankle Sprain

July 4, 25

I had a second degree sprain to my right ankle two days before my holidays, in May 25. After two weeks off I went back to work and my ankle started to swell up again, plus the pain was getting worse.

Dr. Rob suggested I use the Laser treatment and after the Laser treatment the swelling was reduced, plus I had more mobility of my ankle. My ankle is back to 100%, before my injury.

I am very grateful to both Dr. Rob and Dr. YY for bringing this new technology to Surrey.

Thanks for all your hard work in healing my ankle injury.

Osteoarthritis of the Ankle

I am 74 years old and I broke my ankle and had to have surgery on it when I was 21 years old. Gradually after I turned 6 the ankle progressively got worse to the point that I wanted the doctors to cut it off. The only option that the orthopedic specialist gave was to fuse my ankle joint. I tried many different alternatives from exercises to taking supplements and ointments. Nothing seemed to help. I then heard about the laser treatment from the local newspaper. I was skeptical about the laser after tying so many other therapies that didn't help. After the third treatment I noticed that the pain to be lesser and now after 11 treatments I…View More

Knee Pain (Bursitis)

I was having pain bending my knee. My doctor said I had bursitis. I heard about LaserHealth® Solutions on the Talk to the Experts program so I thought I would come in and talk to them. I had 5 treatments and was able to play golf without pain. I was able to walk 9 holes! I am now able to walk every morning again. I am happy with the treatments.

Bakers Cyst and Tendonitis

“I came in complaining of pain and discomfort due to a Bakers Cyst and tendonitis of a hamstring. After 11 treatments with cold laser, the cyst seemed to be gone and the discomfort has been hugely alleviated! I have much greater range of motion during exercise and I'm able to resume my activities with barely any discomfort. Not only has the cyst disappeared, but I'm confident that the tendonitis which caused the Bakers Cyst has also healed through the laser treatments.”

Golfer Elbow

Ken presented to our office with Golfer's Elbow (inside elbow pain). He found the pain so intense that it interfered with his golf game. This is what he experienced at our office.

When I first began Laser Therapy I was skeptical about its value. After the third or fourth treatment I began to notice and feel improvements. By the sixth or seventh treatments, most of my pain and discomfort was gone. Because I'm very active, I think the process took a little longer.
