The Calgary clinic opened in 2004 and has successfully treated thousands of people for conditions such as tendonitis, sciatica, cervical and shoulder injuries, tennis elbow, low back pain, TMJ syndrome, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries and arthritis. Treatments are a combination of laser therapy and manual therapy.
Laser therapy is proven to help reduce or eliminate inflammation. Light photons are deeply absorbed by soft tissue, stimulating physiological effects necessary to healing. It is a painless, noninvasive therapy which can help restore normal cell function and enhance the body’s healing processes.
The manual work provided by the therapists includes Osteopathic, Somatics, Onsen® and massage techniques. These techniques are used to assess and correct structural and functional imbalances. Improved musculoskeletal balance means the reduction or elimination of pain, an increased range of motion and the release of entrapped nerves or trigger points.
The cost is $120 per visit. An assessment is included in the first visit at no extra charge and each visit takes just under an hour. You are one-on-one with the therapist the whole time. You won't just be receiving laser therapy. Laser therapy is an important part of the treatment because of its ability to reduce or eliminate inflammation and speed up the healing process. The manual therapy is just as important because these techniques deal with the structural and muscular reasons why the pain and inflammation started. Laser Health Solutions has developed a unique therapy program using Osteopathic techniques, Laser Therapy, Somatics, and Massage Therapy that you won't find anywhere else. On average, only ten treatments are needed.
If you have insurance benefits which allow you to see a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), you can claim reimbursement for Laser Health Solutions treatments when you see one of our RMTs. If you have any of the following insurance and are able to see a Manual Osteopathic Therapist (DMO), you are able to claim reimbursement when treated by one of our osteopaths: Blue Cross, Desjardins, Empire Life, Equitable Life, Great West Life, Greenshield, Manulife or Sunlife.

If someone had told me that I could be pain free, I wouldn't have believed them. For over 2 years, I have lived with pain in my hands – not able to work or do many activities that everyone takes for granted.Just after several laser treatments, I felt such a difference.I couldn't believe what I was able to do with my hands again!![I am once again] kneading dough, opening a jar, cutting vegetables, [and] lifting a jug of milk.I'm happy to be able to work in my garden again too.I have hope again and a new lease on life – all thanks to this amazing treatment!Thank you, LaserHealth® Solutions.
“I tore my hamstring back in October during a soccer practice. I went to physiotherapy for months and after a couple months I felt good to go. Then in May 2012, I tweaked it again and it was really bothering me and I had to stop playing soccer because of the pain. Then I decided to try LaserHealth® Solutions. After 10 treatments I feel as good as new. It's amazing how well it works and how I feel no more pain in my hamstring.”
“Pain in my right L5-S1 began in the fall of 2010. As time progressed it got much worse. Severe electric shock down my right leg to the point I was unable to walk across the room. I considered my options which were none. By chance I read the ad in the paper, and a friend had received laser at LaserHealth®. In March I began treatment. Improvement began slowly. To this day I continue to maintain treatments. Activity of daily living which I could not do can be done. Walking is a daily exercise now and life's enjoyments have returned.”
“After an injury to my heel twelve years ago it came back to haunt me one and a half years ago. Eight months ago I saw my family doctor and was referred to a specialist. I never heard from the specialist so I was told to go to see Dr. Rob by my son who had been successfully treated in his clinic. I am so pleased I took his advice because now I can say I am pain free. Thank you Dr. Rob and Bryce for such a good job.”
“I am a frequent runner and active person. On average I would run around 8km to 10km 3 times a week whilst playing baseball during the spring and summer months. I started experiencing knee pain on my right side that was so excruciating I had to stop activities. I was told about trying out laser Therapy and the results were amazing. By the 4th treatment, pain was cut down by almost 75% and it no longer hurt at night. Now after 10 treatments, I am pain free and am actively participating in heavy sprinting and baseball. I would recommend LaserHealth® Solutions especially to athletes who need a relatively quick cure for their ailments.”
I have had a chronic sore knee since July which I thought was from moving and cleaning our house. We were away travelling and I would get very sore and stiff when I would get out of the vehicle. We moved into our new home in December and it continued to be very sore on standing and walking but I once again thought it was from all the moving, cleaning and strain.
I went to my doctor who ordered an x-ray which showed minimal osteoarthritis so then I was sent for an ultrasound to check for a Baker's cyst. This was negative. They were booking me for an MRI. Then I called Suzanne, who is friendly and caring, as to my previous experience in the… View the whole post
I've had a history of sciatica for about 3-35 years. In that time I was an active farmer's wife. I have 7 children and have carried some extra weight that I have battled over the years. Over the past 10 years my knees have been progressively getting worse. The left knee was my problem knee first and the doctors said worn out and full of osteoarthritis. After the left knee gave me issues, my right knee quickly declined. In a matter of 2 years it progressed to doctors recommending knee replacement. I have been on the waiting list and in that system for 2 years. In December 211 I had my final assessment before my scheduled surgery. I was flagged… View the whole post
I have been wanting to write to you for over a year but now I am doing it!!!! The laser treatment that I was so skeptical of, WORKED. I cannot tell you what a relief it was to get the help from you and your technician. THANKS SO MUCH.
I moved to New Westminster, BC after that incident with the nerve pain in my neck/arm/back and can feel it again every now and then. I am so happy to report that there is a LaserHealth® Solutions near me in Burnaby. I recommend your treatment to everyone and I think AB and BC health should cover the costs. I believe in Laser treatment.
I don't know if you remember me or not but I sure remember you and your staff.
I started having heel pain when walking. It was going on for 6 months. It became worse when I first got out of bed in the morning. The pain became so bad that walking down the hallway and driving my car became a chore due to pain. Upon hearing about LaserHealth® Solutions, I decided to find out if they could help. I am happy to say that I am pain free – able to wear any type of shoes, go bare foot and walk pain free – something I was unable to do before Laser Therapy. Thank you.
“In January of 21 with my new wife, I was able to summit Mount Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro a week apart. As a well controlled rheumatoid arthritis suffer I lead a very active home and work life.
Twelve short weeks later I sustained a fall at my home on a icy slope and severely injured my pelvis. The injury created massive inflammation which sent my arthritis symptom into orbit!
Very much open to different modalities of treatment, I was referred to LHS by a friend. Open minded, but frustrated with little to no gain in other forms of treatment I crawled through door in the spring of 21.
